Introduction:
Kui Buri is most famous for its wild elephant watching. Known to be the best elephant and gaur sighting place in Thailand, it is almost 99% sure visitors will see elephants any day.
The animal experience is great – and entirely in the animals’ natural habitat.
Kuiburi is also the only national park in Thailand, where you are almost certain to see the majestic giants thanks to the park´s open areas, lookouts and natural waterholes.
You will be picked up at your hotel approx. 10.00 o’clock and drive a couple of hours through the lush landscape towards Kuiburi National Park. The afternoon is used on a mini safari where you spot wild animals and fill your mind & camara with great animal experiences.
Kui Buri National Park is located next to one of the largest national parks of the country, Kaeng Krachan. Both parks are rich in flora and fauna and offer habitat to animals like the tiger, elephant, gaur, deer, porcupine, monkey, wild boar and an incredible number of bird species.
The animal experience is great – and entirely in the animals’ natural habitat.
You get close to the Elephants but still at a safe distance, and experience the big wild asian elephants as they slowly drift out of the woods, eat large amounts of bamboo or take a cool mud bath.
There are only a few hundred wild elephants left in Thailand and Kuiburi National Park has the greatest concentration in the whole Kingdom.
Kuiburi is also the only national park in Thailand, where you are almost certain to see the majestic giants thanks to the park´s open areas, lookouts and natural waterholes.
However, as the Elephant live in the wild, we can never guarantee you see the elephants. But the chances are extremely good.
Along the way through the park you will also be able to spot other wildlife. Perhaps you are lucky to see the Rhinoceros, the Gaur-bull, also called the Indian Bison which is the largest present ox species, monkeys, deer or even leopards?
Your guide will tell you about plants and wildlife in the park along the way.
In the late afternoon we will leave the park and return to Hua Hin where it is expected we arrive between 5 – 6 PM.
