Introduction: Do not miss out on this trip! By bike you will be guided by narrow alleyways in “Little Chinatown” through Khlong Toey market and slums to end up with a fun challenge testing your balance on the narrow paths over the klongs (canals).
The surroundings here are green and lush, the air is fresh and the birds are singing in the palm trees. Bangkok has many faces – and you will NEVER forget this experience.
The bike route is flexible, so it is not exactly the same every day. You do not need to be in particularly good physical shape to participate, but expect to be biking between 15-20 kilometers during the approximately four to five-six hour tour. Some will find it a little tough. If you wish, you can borrow a helmet free of charge before the tour starts – contact your bike guide.

We get the bikes You can choose between a mountain or city bike in various sizes of the brand name TREK and start the tour by biking away from the busy roads and in through the lively Khlong Toey market.
The market offers a colourful mix of Thai and Chinese goods year round and you get to see impressive pyramids of fresh pineapples and cackling chickens in bamboo cages. The route takes us through slums, where you will see the backside of the metropolis. Biking through “Little Chinatown” the kids will wave excitedly, shouting “hello” of the rare sight of foreigners biking in their neighborhood. When we have crossed the Chao Praya river in a long tail boat, we get to Phra Pradaeng, the “green lungs of Bangkok”, where we will bike around the narrow cement paths which are built on stilts in the klongs (canals) and create an extensive path system. Here the towers are replaced by palm trees and the noise of the traffic is now birds singing – a completely different side of Bangkok than most travellers experience.
The bike tour ends back at the meeting point around 1 pm/5 pm or 4 pm depending which tour you will be doing.
